The causes we support are further supported through matching gifts from the Northwestern Mutual Foundation.
ALEX'S LEMONADE STAND
We are proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial advisors like us have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
PARKINSON’S FOUNDATION
The Parkinson’s Foundation makes life better for people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. Our work with the Parkinson's Foundation is particularly important and personal to us, as Jon lost his father to the disease in 2003. Each April, Jon co-chairs a fundraising event in New York City, which supports the Parkinson's Foundation. "Celebrate Spring" has raised over $1,500,000 since its inception in 2008. In 2017, Jon was selected as a Northwestern Mutual Community Service Award recipient for his work with the Parkinson's Foundation. As part of the award, he was able to present the Parkinson's Foundation with a $15,000 grant from the Northwestern Mutual Foundation.

NO ONE LEFT BEHIND
No One Left Behind is a charity and veteran service organization that was founded by US Army Captain, Matt Zeller and his Afghan Interpreter, Janis Shinwary. The organization is dedicated to ensuring the United States honors its obligation to our Afghan and Iraqi interpreters and employees through the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) programs. The group advocates for the SIV programs, helps evacuate deserving SIV applicants to safety, and provides resettlement assistance to help them start new lives as Americans.
